I Just Can't Resist...

Brach's Juju Hearts. It's a weird addiction but I love those things. Don't ask me why. I was at Target today and saw them with the Valentine's Day candy. They were beckoning to me and I could not resist! Not only did I buy one bag, I completely caved and bought TWO!

So, one bag is half gone already (it's been in my possession for about, oh, maybe six or seven hours). How long do you think they'll last? Not long, I'm sure. I will have to do my best to stay out of Target until Valentine's Day is over.

That should be easy since I'm not shopping but today I bought necessities such as toothpaste, hair color, mucinex (cold medicine). And if you're wondering, yes, hair color is a necessity.

Tonight we're watching the second half of "Little Dorrit", a wonderful Charles Dickens movie (almost eight hours long!) and I will be munching popcorn and juju hearts. Yum!

Edited to add: Groan! I just read the ingredient list: Corn Syrup, Sugar, Modified Food Starch (Corn), Cornstarch, Artificial Flavor, Sodium Citrate, White Mineral Oil, Citric Acid, Beeswax, Artificial Color (Red 40).

I'm not so hungry for Juju Hearts anymore. :'(

Okay, so I have never tasted Juju Hearts before, but after hearing how much you adore them, and simply looking upon their cuteness, I think I may need to run out and snag a bag myself!! :)

About 24 hours of ownership and I'm down to one bag. I have to say that while I love them it isn't just about the taste. There's something about the chewy jujuness (a word I just created). Weird, I know.

I loved watching that with you mom! I don't like those juju hearts though. You can have my share. :)

Hi CanDo Mom,
Thanks for visiting my blog! It's always such a thrill for me to think anyone would come by and have any interest at all in what interests me, or that they would care at all to read what I'm yammering on about.
I like your blog too. Emily Anne is a genius in designing! I looove the fabric print you/she chose, the rich, muted tones and the classic exotic motifs.
I can only shrug and be myself when it comes to expressing my Christianity on the blog. Since I'm a craft-hobbyist, I know I get a little of the craft-artist traffic, many of whom may be put off by blogs where the focus is mixed. And I suppose the same may be true. There may be Christians who seek blogs dealing consistently with religious/spiritual discussions. I feel like I could go on and on about what I'm reading each day, or what I'm writing about in my Prayer Journal. But I can't devote that much time to blogging, I'm working hard to be "daily" about my time with God and in His Word, as it is......
Anyhoo, on and on I go...it's fun to meet you. I admire you for homeschooling. Keep up the good work, and keep blogging, I'll be watching!

Just thought I'd inform everyone that I finished off the second bag tonight. No more juju hearts. :(

I can't relate to your love for juju hearts (blech!), but I had to comment when I read that you were finishing Little Dorrit. I just watched it a few weeks ago, and it is now my very favorite movie of all time, surpassing Pride and Prejudice. (Did I just say that?)

Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting. I can tell already that we are kindred spirits in many ways. :)
