Playing in the Snow

Doesn't this look like a snowy tunnel of trees?

Hey! I haven't posted anything in a while... I've been busy but that's no excuse. I don't know how the rest of you ultra-bloggers do it, but I sometimes can't keep up with all the details of life and my blog is the first thing to go.

One of the fun things I've been doing lately is snowshoeing in all this snow we've gotten. I really love going out on our (and our neighbors') trails. It's so beautiful out in the snow and the dogs really love getting out there with me. Well, Lacey not so much, but Theodore does. He literally puts his head under the snow and pushes around like a little mini snowplow. It's hysterical to watch!

I've included a few photos from a snowshoe jaunt in the fresh fallen snow a few days ago. It was gorgeous! I hope you're all enjoying this winter as much as I am. Believe it or not, I'm actually sad about leaving our beautiful snow. That may seem crazy to most of you, but I really like getting out in the snow to snowshoe, ski or snowmobile. I guess it's a good thing I like the snow if I'm going to live in Wisconsin!

Those are really beautiful! Oh, and by the way, I love the terrarium you made. I've really been wanting to make one ever since I saw the movie "Penelope" for the first time.

Yes, very good thing that you love snow living in Wisconsin. I do love the snow, and could never live anywhere that didn't have snow in the winter, but I am also starting to crave the smell of fresh dirt. It is nice to finally have a winter with snow after so many dry years. I love all your paths and woods. We built in a cornfield so our trees are just tiny sticks at this point, I really appreciate wooded areas!

Have a great Valentine's weekend, one day of love is just not enough!

PS- and the only way I can blog? I don't need a ton of sleep, so I do a ton of posting at night after everyone is tucked in, then just publish during the week. I am lucky though to not need a ton of sleep, if I did, there would be no blogging for me. Too much laundry and cleaning (not that I'm the greatest on keeping up with those things, okay I'll be honest, too many books that call out my name...)

I love these pictures! Especially Theodore, the Canine Snowplow!
I totally get the too-busy-to-blog concept. Buried in it right now, but trying to make my way back to my blog. Just trying to keep it all in perspective!
