The sky was a gorgeous gold last night as the sun broke through the clouds during a rain.
This was my view to the west...
And this was my view to the east. A gorgeous rainbow that doesn't look nearly as bright
in this photo as it was in real life.
I love rainbows and their reminder of God's promise to us:
"Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,
I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every
kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the
rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant
between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." Genesis 9:14-16
